FounderSuite

Investor CRM

Foundersuite is a CRM built specifically for fundraising, designed around running a startup investment round as a pipeline. Instead of tracking investors in a spreadsheet, you work a list of funds and angels through stages from first contact to committed, with an attached investor database, update newsletters and a data room. It is a fundraising tool rather than a sales CRM, and the vocabulary and workflow reflect that.

What you can actually do with it

Most founders use it for the duration of a raise and then for investor reporting afterwards:

Who it fits best

It is built for founders actively raising a seed or Series A round, particularly first-time founders who have not run a process before and benefit from the structure the tool imposes. If you are contacting dozens of investors over a few months, the pipeline view and the deck analytics genuinely help you prioritize.

It also gets used by accelerators supporting portfolio companies through raises, and by intermediaries running processes on behalf of clients. It is less useful if you have a small warm list you can manage in a spreadsheet, or if you are years away from raising – the value is concentrated in the active months of a round.

Things worth knowing before you commit

Alternatives to compare it against

A general CRM such as HubSpot’s free tier or Airtable can be shaped into an investor pipeline for nothing, at the cost of building it yourself and having no investor database. Crunchbase and PitchBook are stronger as research databases but are not fundraising CRMs. Dedicated data room providers do the diligence stage more thoroughly if that is your bottleneck. And for many founders a well-kept spreadsheet plus warm introductions is genuinely sufficient for a first round.

Plan tiers, database access limits and pricing change regularly. Check Foundersuite’s own pricing page and confirm what the plan includes before subscribing.
